Reasons to leave And now, mistakes begin to haunt The lingering essence of life, For getting up becomes a daily fight, And love a distant memory of love. Listen to the silence that gathers Your tears hitting the dusty ground, And hope for a new sound As our hearts, begin to part ways. The echoes of war erupt inside, A struggle between thoughts Silent sirens drafting the past And none can dream of beauty. Hmm, the end starts begging For leftovers, breadcrumbs of joy But nobody answers; The mess hall is empty, Music still playing, And poems slowly become Plain empty words.
